Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her role as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te enamores. She is also a dancer and also models. She is a native of Montreal However, she was raised studying in Texas. The passion she has for dance has been a part of her since childhood. She was trained since early in different types. At the age of 15 old, she began competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous in 2008 when she took part in the second season of the Univision beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010 she began her acting career as a receptionist on the Telemundo t l novela Aurora. The year 2015 saw her appeared in her first feature film, the action drama Tattooed Love.
