Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992) is an Indian actress. She is a regular on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She received the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the character in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Her other awards include three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is her mother is Menaka G. Suresh and filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar is an aspiring actress. Her early career was as a children's actress. Then, following a course in fashion design, she re-entered acting. She portrayed her first leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and was signed to participate in a variety of Tamil film projects simultaneously. The director it was A. L. Vijay, with Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare much, but it did release. The actress had to pull out of several films she was involved in during 2015, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye, and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for larger projects. Within a brief period she also worked with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor in Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut had been planned as Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. In 2015 the movie was later delayed and reports claim that Janakitho will be released in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay. She appeared in Tamil film Paambhu Satai, along with Telugu movie Nenu Local both in 2017.
