Aaliyah Haughton became famous in 1994 when she released her first album Age isn't just an amount. Aaliyah Danahaughton was only 15 when the album became Gold. This collaboration was strongly inspired by R. Kelly, and helped put her onto the scene. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri as well as Timbaland joined forces to record the second album of hers, One In A Million. It featured the track the song If Your Boyfriend only Knew as the number one. Aaliyah became a household name as a R&B artist following the launch of her second album One in a Million. The actress is the first Indian American to be who was born in Connecticut. Mann the stage name is an acronym for Mankad her surname when she married. However, she uses both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for professional names. Though she started her career with minor TV and film parts, her acting career started to gain momentum in the mid-2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She has also been featured in commercials of major companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. She is currently working on her acting career at Los Angeles, where she lives with her daughter and husband.
